Framer has a Custom Code panel with head and end-of-body slots, and the widget belongs in the second one.
As with Webflow, custom code only runs on the published site — not on the canvas and not in preview. Publish before you judge whether it worked.
Where the tag goes
Open Site Settings, then General, then Custom Code. Paste the line into the "End of <body> tag" field and publish.

Published only
Framer strips custom code on the canvas and in preview. A publish to your staging domain is the fastest way to verify without touching the live site.
CMS pages
Site-level custom code applies to CMS-generated pages as well as designed ones, so a bot installed once covers every entry in a collection.
What it answers from
The published site. Framer sites tend to be marketing sites with the detail concentrated in a few pages, which suits a crawl-built bot well — there is little surface area for it to be vague about.

Why is nothing showing on the Framer canvas?
Framer does not execute custom code in the editor or in preview. Publish the site and it appears.
Does this need a paid Framer plan?
Custom code is a paid-plan feature on Framer. Check your plan before installing; the restriction applies to all third-party scripts.
Will the widget slow my Framer site down?
The tag is deferred, so the browser finishes laying out and painting your page before it is fetched or executed. Nothing about your page waits on it, and if it fails to load your site is unaffected.
Do I need a developer?
No. You copy one line from your Eteon dashboard and paste it into Framer's own code field. There is nothing to build, no package to install, and no framework requirement.
